1. The inner party tries to control the outter parties additude towards sex because the iner party structured sex to have one purpose and thats for reproduction. Also the party finds sex to be boring and that it should remain joyless for both participants.

2.They turn a blind eye to the inner parties visit to prostitutes because it's not a matter of great importance to the party, plus the inner party members have more rights and freedoms than the other citizensbecause of their heavy dedication and efforts towards the party.

1. Winston works at the ministry of truth in Ocenia. He proofreads and edits text to spread the propaganda of big brother.

1. I think that big brothers government straved and famined the people in oceania too weaken the people's morale and crush the peoples spirits to counter the violent acts of the government

Winston Smith is the prtagonist in the story. the book centres around his life and jobwith the outter party in Ocenia. Winston is a small member of the outter party but is fed up with the goverment's total control of the people and wants to stage a revolution.

O'brein is Winstons friend and coworker in the minstry of truth. They engage usually in small talk but they remain close and he could turn to him if Winston has any troubles

the though police are the organized goons of big brothers government. they have full reign of thew proles freedom and have the right to arrest with out cause and also have the ability to read peoples minds and faces.
